to Autumn 2005, consult the Catalog in affect when you first enrolled

The tracks identify the most appropriate courses from which to select for a
particular career goal. Courses marked with an asterisk (*) do not count toward
the 50 or 65 hours required for the major.

General Mathematics Track: preparation for graduate school

Integrated Mathematics Education Track: preparation for high school teaching:
Requirements for students seeking secondary teacher licensure in mathematics appear
in the Teacher Education Programs booklet available from the Department of
Education. Requirements forthe major and for teacher licensure may differ, but
both must be met for licensure and the major must be completed to receive a
Bachelor's degree.

Non-Course Requirements for any Bachelors degree:
- Hours Needed to Graduate
- Minimum 180 quarter hours.
- ASC 080 and MATH 090 do not count toward the 180 hours.
- GPA requirement
- Minimum 2.0 GPA overall
- Minimum 2.0 GPA in courses required for the major
- Residency Requirement
- Minimum 15 hours in the major at 300/400 level in an Otterbein classroom
- Minimum 5 hours in the minor in an Otterbein classroom
- Minimum 2 INST courses (at least 1 of which is 300/400 level) in an Otterbein classroom
- Minimum 60 hours overall in an Otterbein classroom, not including ASC 080 and MATH 090
- Maximum 15 hours of the final 45 hours at institution other than Otterbein
- Application Requirement
- Request an Application for Degree from the Registrar's Office at least two quarters
prior to the quarter in which the degree is to be completed
