Statistics (including geostatistics http://geoecosse.hypermart.net/), simulation, and operations research are what I enjoy teaching the most. Before moving into academia in 1997 at Otterbein, I worked in engineering/statistical research and consulting for 20 years and have traveled to over 25 countries including spending a considerable time in Saudi Arabia. My BS is computer engineering, MS statistics, and PhD industrial & systems engineering. I am a licensed engineer.
We live in the NW part of Columbus and have a great collie named Alex and a cat named Xena. Tom James and I are often seen jogging around campus at lunch with Ioan Hrinca joining us now and then.
