Computer Science is the study of problem solving with computers.
Computer scientists focus primarily on the science of programming and
controlling computers to store, communicate, and retrieve information.
Many careers in computer science involve development of software.
However, understanding computation also requires knowledge of computer
hardware, mathematics, logic, scientific reasoning, and other topics.
November 2008 Update: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that despite the faltering economy and
job losses of 240,000 nationwide during October 2008, the Information Technology sector actually grew
