05/30/2007, Results for 2007-2008 ASC Officers Election
New Officers were elected for the 2007-2008 school year. Ben Moldenhauer
who was secretary this previous year, will be the new President for the Otterbein Actuarial Science Club. Jenna Harrington captured Vice Presidency, Tom Davis is the new Secretary, and Andrew Spisak was elected Treasurer. Seniors were given congratulations and passed on their thoughts for the next academic year.

Joseph L. Petrelli, Owner and President of
Demotech Inc., came to Otterbein to speak on what Demotech has to offer
in the P&C area of Insurance. Petrelli has a very broad background
and has been employed by many big Insurance companies, although since
1980 he has been self-employed. Petrelli is the innovator of the
Financial Stability Ratings that over 200 P&C companies and almost
all of the Title Insurance Industry receives. Demotech also
provides Actuarial Opinions to many regional companies in

What makes a Successful Actuary?
Richard Evans, a
Nationwide Insurance Senior Actuary, will be comeing back to Otterbein
to speak on "What makes a successful actuary?" This is the second year
that Richard will be speaking to us, and he is really excited to see
what this years canadites have to offer. He will be having
a talk in room 122 of Towers Hall at 7:30pm. He also will be
conducting interviews the next day for future intern positions. |
